SXSW Music Festival Recap
Looking back on our experience at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX this month, I think it's safe to say that it was a huge success for The Whipsaws. Not only did they captivate their audiences at all seven shows they played at, but they also gained the respect of new fans and industry "big-wigs". Wrapping up their week at SXSW, The Whipsaws backed Tim Easton for a set at the annual SXSW Closing Party at the Continental Club, hosted by Alejandro Escoveda. Almost finished with their rockin' set, the band was joined by Lucinda Williams for a cover of Bob Dylan's tune, Meet Me In The Morning. For those of you who have not seen the video (shot by Marty Jones), please check it out...
